The Mission: JOCLSI serves as a critical forum for exploring the interconnectedness of childhood literacy development and the complex societal issues that shape children's lives. We aim to promote understanding of how literacy practices, policies, and experiences are influenced by and contribute to larger social, cultural, political, and economic forces. The Journal seeks articles for its upcoming issue of 2024 for the following topics;

  • Phonemic awareness,
  • Vocabulary development,
  • Reading comprehension strategies,
  • Reading promotional strategies i.e. storytelling, sustained silent reading etc.

  • Literacy development in multilingual contexts
